Scatter plot of correlation of left liver lobe ultrasound measurements and CD4+ counts in individuals co-infected with HIV-1 and S. mansoni. Ultrasound measurements were adjusted for height of individuals. The no correlation was observed between left liver lobe ultrasound measurements and CD4+ counts (r = −0.16, P = 0.084).
