Maximum likelihood phylogenetic tree of the mini-exon gene from T. cruzi. Representative sequences identified as TcI and TcII strains from T. brasiliensis and T. pseudomaculata collected in peridomestic habitats (Russas, Ceará, Brazil) were compared with other sequences of Triatoma sp. obtained from GenBank. The relative values (%) on branches are based on 1,000 bootstrap replicates.
