Chromosomal position of the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) implicated in T. gondii interaction with cat intestine. Circos plot shows the relative expression levels of DEGs in the cat chromosomes. Up- and downregulated genes were found on all cat chromosomes; however, the DEGs encoded by chromosome X were mainly downregulated. Chromosome number and bands are identified in the outermost ring. Other tracks from outer to inner compares the cat intestinal transcriptional response to T. gondii infection at 6, 12, 18, 24, 72, and 96 hours post-infection. Red and green color represents the upregulated and downregulated genes, respectively
