Number of Anopheles species collected from the study communities. A total of 9924 (55.8 %) of the mosquitoes were Anopheles species, with Mampong alone contributed over 70 % of this number. Forty percent of the mosquitoes caught were Culex species, whiles the remaining few were Mansonia and Aedes species
