The values for the diploid J10 (RP) and 1738 (GP) parents are indicated. Values for hybrid clones within the solid box are also consistent with diploidy (mean 47042, s.d. 4364). Values for hybrid clones within the hatched box correspond with 4N (mean 94083, s.d. 13091); the remaining clone (circled, Fly 1 clone 18) had a value of 74611, corresponding to a 3N DNA content.
